Islands of adventure vs universal studios food - all you can eat pass?

I am going to Universal and Islands of Adventure in early December and curious which park I should buy the all you can eat pass to? Is the food better at Universal or Islands of Adventure?

It includes an entree and dessert at any and all of the following at each park

Participating restaurants at Universal Studios:

Louie's Italian Restaurant

Mel's Drive-in

International Food and Film Festival

Classic Monsters Caf茅

Participating restaurants at Islands of Adventure:

Circus McGirkus Caf茅 Stoo-pendus

Captain America's Diner

Comic Strip Caf茅

The Burger Digs

Is $19.99/per person fair for this deal? You can begin at 10:30 am and eat until 30 minutes before closing.

Also, which park will we get wetter in? Seems like Islands of Adventure has more water rides?

Thanks for your help!Islands of adventure vs universal studios food - all you can eat pass?
Louies Italian serves pasta and pizza, Mel's serves burger fries. The International place has the most selection and would probably better if you are not into pizza or burgers.

At IOA Circus McGirkus would prob be your best bet it has more variety than your burgers and pizza at the other places you mentioned

If you want to buy one just for one park I would do it at IOA you will easily get hungry more there.

IOA has more wet rides yes. Rides where you will get wet.

Universal not really there is Jaws Twister Disaster which you can get wet on but not soaking wet
it is definitely worth it if you plan to stay at the park all day. I personally like eating at the irish bar in universal they have great fun, vibe, and service. I like louie's the pizza is good. I like the wacky drop at Islands of adventure and there you get wet. I have never gotten wet at Jaws in Universal

they also have a nice cafe at IOA with table service

i like table service so i dont get the pass, but the pass is definitely worth itIslands of adventure vs universal studios food - all you can eat pass?
Islands of adventure!
I have been to nearly all of these restaurants, and unfortunately there is not a lot of variety. They are so similar that it really doesn't matter which one. I would probably give an advantage to Universal, because the restaurants that participate will give you a little bit more variety to choose from. There is a website called http://www.allearsnet.com which is really for Disney, but it also includes some Universal stuff, and they have the menus to all of these places if you want to look and compare. You can also look at the prices.

I think that you can easily spend $20, so I say it is worth it. If you are planning to eat 2 meals, which I would imagine you are, it should be worth it. Plus be sure to get a snack or two!

Yes, Islands of Adventure you will definitely get wet in. There is Jurassic Park - usually not very wet, but occasionally the boat sits just right and you get soaked. Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls - nearly always get soaked. I forget the exact name, but Popeye's Barges - get soaked. And if you have kids there are a couple of play areas you can get soaked in, also. You might want to bring cheap ponchos with you. At Universal - maybe a little tiny bit wet on Jaws and/or Twister. That's about it.
