White sink that I can't get clean?

I am housesitting for my in-laws and they will be gone for another few months. They have quartz countertops, and I thought they said their sink was also quartz but I can't be entirely sure. It is just a solid white color, and looks a little grain-y. They told me Barkeepers Friend would work, but it didn't, and despite rinsing the sink after every use, it's gotten dirty. They are black-ish stains. I also tried 409, and that basically did nothing. I was advised to not use bleach on it, as it can ruin whatever material its made out of. It needs to be clean before they get back because my mother in-law is anal and will KILL us if her sink is not pristine. Any advice is greatly appreciated.White sink that I can't get clean?
First, here's a page that describes how to clean quartz sinks: http://www.howtocleanstuff.net/how-to-cl鈥?/a>

If that doesn't work (and from your description it hasn't) I'd try a product designed to remove hard water or lime buildup. If you're keeping the sink clean, it could be that hard water stains are causing the dingy look.

Finally, I'd go to the local big box hardware store and see what they recommend. There's probably a product designed specially for quartz sinks.

Good luck!
I'd try a paste of Oxyclean. Just scrub it with that using the paste and a Lysol wipe or paper towel.White sink that I can't get clean?
maybe worth trying lemon juice??? don't know if it will work but it will smell nice :)
