Venice Beach (great place to go people-watching, surfing, biking, boating and etc. You鈥檒l get to see lots of freaks acting stupid and people of various races.)
Grauman's Chinese Theatre (i added it to your list since it鈥檚 a must-see)

Considering you just coped and pasted the answer I gave (without even giving me a "Best Answer", I might add), I'll give you this: I have been to each and every place I mentioned, and any of them will be memorable. They all have merit, and you should enjoy yourself.Choose the best LA vacation spots out of this list?
Disneyland (NICE FOR OUT OF TOWN PEOPLE BUT WAY OVER PRICED GET A "B-")
Universal Studios (A MUST and for a less theme park like experience take the Warner Bros Studio Tour and or Sony Pictures Studio = "A")
Downtown Disney District (It's OK...MIX IT IN THE DISNEY TRIP)
Universal City Walk (Nice. Comes with your trip to Universal. Lovitz Comedy club is good.)

Olvera Street/Union Station = Pass , nice to drive by, go to Philippe Restaurant for Lunch..home of the "French Dip"sandwichh. It all started there
Rodeo Drive, 90210: YES... walk around, you might see some sales.
Venice Beach = I guess, becarefull
Santa Monica: Beach and Pier: YES and the 3rd streetpromenadee
Sunset Boulevard = Yes!!!! you can drive it all the way from Hollywood to Malibu
Farmers Market and The Grove= it's ok... nice theaters and shops and restaurants
Griffith Park= Pass
Getty Museum = YES YES
Attend a TV taping = YES!! YOUR IN HOLLYWOOD, WHY NOT
