I come from southern california where there are tons of hamburger joints, they selle everything from chili cheese fries, big hamburgers, club sandwiches, thick fries, just about everything. I can't seem to find a good old fashioned hamburger stand that sells their hamburgers with thousand island dressing. There are some called Jims Burgers or Toms Burgers but I don't see any out here in Modesto? Does anyone know if there are any places like these in Turlock, Modesto,Stockton Etc.Where are the best Hamburger stands in Modesto California?
Try the knock-out burger at the Scenic Drive-in, on Scenic about two blocks west (towards downtown) after the Coffee Road intersection. It has avacado and bacon.
The Nutcracker in Oakdale is a steak restaurant. They make a great hamburger, but it is $6.95 or more.Where are the best Hamburger stands in Modesto California?
