Job/employment advice..?

so i always apply for jobs.. and like.. when ever i do, I NEVER GET ONE, i think it has something to do with the way i fill out my application..

like, i have a 1.2 GPA o_o could that be why National Coney Island, Burger King and stuff, places that accept 14 year olds never accept me? or even call me in for an interview? Can anyone give me some advice as to how to apply for a job? :[ i really really need one.. i'm 15 btw..Job/employment advice..?
If they give you an application form, write it out very neatly. If you're handing out a resume, do it with a cover letter explaining why you would be good at the job. Make yourself sound hardworking etc, so don't list your interests as "watching tv" or something, but don't lie, because they can tell, or might ask questions at interview that show you up as a liar.

I think the most important thing is to sound enthusiastic about the company you're applying for. Like if it's burger king, tell them that you love their food and you think it's a great place. One of my favourite lines is something like "I regularly shop/eat/etc at --------- and I really enjoy the atmosphere there, I would love the opportunity to join the team [they love teamwork at every job, make sure you mention it] and contribute towards it"
Include a resume....If your not including your resume, well then.. you are just stupid!Job/employment advice..?
exaggerate your qualities
Apply to a local grocery store. Most grocery stores will hire 15 and up, and it's easy work for a decent wage.
Try not using "like" in your sentences. Make yourself appear to be a nerd, even if your not, because that's what employers like to see. I mean, if you were going to trust someone to represent your business, would you want to hire some flaky looking teenager that spoke like a valley girl?
The way I did it when I was 15 was just walk around the area around my school and ask every business if they are hiring. you may have a unique personality that fits in a niche market. I don't think they ask your GPO when you fill out an application. If all else fails you can deliver newspapers or babysit by hanging flyers around the neighborhood offering babysitting services.
Lots of states requre you to be at least 18 to handle cash drawer type jobs, which is why Mcdonalds and Burger King won't be calling you back. Try finding something that goes along with your hobbies, like skateboarding see if there is a repair shop near you that would let you help out. There are labor laws that say you can only work a specific number of hours in a week, so if you do find a job, they won't put you at 40 hours a week until your 16 or its summer time.

Good Luck!
Well most places require that you have your GPA on an application when you are under 18. I'm afraid yours will keep you from getting most jobs. I would consider trying to really do better in school over the next few years or you will be finding this problem when your 18 and need to support yourself.

Try babysitting, grocery store bagger. Good luck!
Do you have a resume? If not make sure you make one and pay attention to detail show them why it would benefit them to hire you. Dress for success! Wish you the best!
well theres probley so many people filling out applaications there, that they only except people with a higher GPA or with more community service. well i think you should exagerate, like say ur good at math so u can be a chashier or something, say i cook with my dad and im really good at it. be persausive

BTW were in a ressesion and hardly anyone is gettin jobs its not ur fault
that's a really bad GPA

with a bad gpa comes a bad reputation... get involved around the community, and that will help you.
You need to go in and check on your applications.

Fill one out wait about 2 days and talk to a manager.

this way they see you are really interested in the job.
